About the OMSSWC

The Oregon Middle School State Championship (OMSSWC) began in 1998 at Woodburn High School with regional qualifiers added in 2006. All wrestlers must qualify for the state tournament in the region in which they reside.

The girls state tournament was added in 2018 with girls regionals added in 2022. Beginning in 2024, the Willamette regional and state tournaments were hosted at West Albany HS.
